Five business destinations of Iran in the first month of 1401

According to Echo Iran; In the investigated period, the five countries “China”, “United Arab Emirates”, “Iraq”, “Turkey” and “Afghanistan” were the main export destinations of Iran’s goods (without crude oil) in April 1401, which is about 71% of the total value. Iran’s exports during the mentioned period have been allocated to themselves.
According to the data announced in the first month of this year, excluding crude oil, the exporters managed to export about 9.6 million tons of goods worth 6.5 billion dollars. The data announced by the Tehran Chamber’s Deputy for Economic Research shows that Iran’s exports in April 1401 increased by 25% in terms of value and decreased by 10.2% in terms of weight compared to April 1400. On the other hand, based on the evaluations, Iran’s trade balance in April 1401 was equal to 875 million dollars, which has increased more than 5 times compared to April 1400.

Major export destinations of Iran

According to the published report, the five countries “China”, “United Arab Emirates”, “Iraq”, “Turkey” and “Afghanistan” were the main destinations of Iran’s commodity exports (without crude oil) in April 1401, which accounted for nearly 71% of the value. They accounted for the entire export of Iran in the mentioned period. The published data shows that China had the highest value of Iran’s exports in April 1401 with a share of 35% (about 3.1 billion dollars), which has experienced an increase of about 33% in terms of value compared to April 1400. After China, the UAE with a share of 18% ($668 million) and Iraq with a share of 11.5% ($426 million) are ranked second and third. In April 1400, Iran’s exports to all the mentioned countries, except for Afghanistan and Iraq, increased compared to the same period of 1400, and the largest increase occurred in exports to Turkey (more than twofold increase).

Iran’s main import destinations

On the other hand, according to the announced data, Iran’s main import sources in April 1401 were five countries: “United Arab Emirates”, “China”, “Turkey”, “India” and “Germany”. According to published statistics, the value of goods imported from the United Arab Emirates is 778 million dollars, and this country’s share of imports to Iran is about 28%, which is the largest share compared to other countries. After the United Arab Emirates, China with (676) million dollars and Turkey (272) million dollars are with a share of 24% and about 10%, respectively.
Among the mentioned countries, imports from all countries increased in April 1401 compared to April 1400, except the United Arab Emirates, and the largest increase with 14% belonged to Germany.
